These terms govern your use of anchorknight.com and any reservation or purchase of a AnchorKnight device from us. By joining the waitlist or placing a pre-order you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@anchorknight.com.
Reservations and the waitlist
AnchorKnight is currently pre-launch. Joining the waitlist or reserving an Early Bird place is free and non-binding: you pay nothing today and you are under no obligation to buy. We will email you an exact ship date and a confirmation link before we ever charge you — you pay on delivery, not before.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
- The Early Bird price is locked for reservation holders while places last; other prices may change until you place a confirmed order.
- Payment is taken on delivery or when you confirm your order, using the method offered at checkout. We never charge a reservation.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Delivery, the 30-day return window and the 2-year warranty are described on our shipping & returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Safe use — what an anchor alarm can and cannot do
This matters, so we say it plainly. AnchorKnight is an aid to anchor watch, not a substitute for seamanship. It helps warn you if your boat moves beyond a radius you set, but it does not anchor your boat, guarantee your anchor will hold, or replace your own judgement, a proper watch, or safe anchoring practice. You remain responsible for your vessel, crew and anchoring at all times. GPS, batteries and electronics can fail; do not rely on any single device for safety of life or property.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnchorKnight is not liable for any loss or damage — including damage to your vessel, other property, or the consequences of a dragging anchor — arising from use of, or reliance on, the device, beyond the remedies set out in the warranty. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
Intellectual property
The AnchorKnight name, logo, website content and product designs are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country in which you live.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product moves toward launch. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
This page is a clear, good-faith summary of our terms and is not legal advice. Before public launch, have it reviewed against your final pricing, fulfilment and applicable law.
